EPA existing chemical Phase one registration under Taiwan TCSCA has been carried out since Sep. 2015. There were more than 50,000 cases registered from Sep., 2015 to Feb., 2016.  As Phase one registration will be closed by March 31^st, possible registers, who manufacture or import an existing chemical substance exceeded 100 kg, shall file the application by this month.

The registrant shall submit the chemical substance information through the Internet platform, EPA chemical registration platform, before the deadline. Moreover, the payment document of the registration fee shall be uploaded to the platform before April 7^th for a successful phase one application. The application will be rejected if the registrant fails to upload the proof of payment.

A kind reminder was also given by EPA. If a registrant fails to apply for the phase one registration for the chemicals that ought to have been registered, after April 1^st, an official document issue to EPA is required for the supplementation of the phase one registration; more importantly, the registrants may be fined up to NT$300,000 according to the paragraph 2, Article 35-1 of TCSCA.  

各位登錄人請注意，既有化學物質第一階段登錄申請截止日為105年3月31日23時59分59秒。依據「新化學物質及既有化學物質資料登錄辦法」（以下稱 「登錄辦法」）第31條，「登錄人依本辦法規定提出各項申請，應依本法收費標準規定繳納費用，並以中央主管機關所定網路傳輸系統、登錄工具或表單提交化學 物質資料。前述網路傳輸系統、登錄工具或表單之內容，應以中文填寫，檢具之外文資料應附中文譯本。登錄人未依前述規定辦理者，中央主管機關不予受理，但報 請中央主管機關同意者不在此限。」

各位登錄人應於既有化學物質第一階段登錄申請截止日前，於登錄平臺提出申請，若於登錄申請截止日前繳費證明未上傳或有誤者，須於7日內（至4月7日止）上傳正確之繳費證明，未完成繳費證明上傳者，依登錄辦法第31條，該案件不予受理。

提醒您，未依登錄辦法第18條規定期限內完成既有化學物質第一階段登錄取得登錄碼，如後續仍有運作需要，須以公文提出登錄辦法第18條既有化學物質第一階段登錄之補申請，並依毒性化學物質管理法第35條之1第2項裁處。
