 Taiwan Chemical Substance Bureau (TCSB) held the consultation section on June 9th to solicit comments on their plan of designated existing substance for standard registration (prioritized existing chemicals, PEC).

According to the TCSCA, importers and manufacturers (registrants) with annual tonnage exceeding 1 ton/ year are required to file standard registration of substances designated by TCSB.

The registrants may resister jointly, or by individuals, and the third party can be assigned and engaged to register on behalf of importers and manufactures.
TSCB also pre-announced a list of 122 PEC to solicited comments from participants.

依據「毒性化學物質管理法」暨「新化學物質及既有化學物質資料登錄辦法」（登錄辦法）規定，行政院環保署將依既有化學物質第一階段登錄情形，分期公告應完成既有化學物質標準登錄之既有化學物質名單、數量級距及完成登錄之期限。登錄辦法中也規定不同登錄人申請登錄同一既有化學物質者，得協議申請共同登錄。

由行政院環保署化學物質登錄制度精進措施專案計畫執行單位財團法人安全衛生技術中心，6/9邀請輸入及製造源頭廠商代表，研商座談有關登錄辦法中預計公告首批122優選既有化學物質名單及既有化學物質標準登錄與共同登錄之規劃與研討。
